Kingdom Life Church Leadership

Kingdom Life Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Willie G. Robinson Jr

Senior Pastor

Pastor Willie Robinson, Jr. is a passionate servant of God, dedicated to preaching the Word using Kingdom principles, and loving Gods people with authenticity. A native of New York, he brings a unique combination of ministry experience and corporate leadership, all rooted in a deep commitment to building the Kingdom of God.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Pastor Robinson has led complex, multimillion-dollar corporate actions—including mergers, acquisitions, tender offers, and stock splits. His excellence in the marketplace reflects the same integrity, discipline, and strategic thinking he brings to ministry.

He was raised in church under the leadership of his father, Bishop W.G. Robinson, Sr., Senior Pastor of Glorious Temple Church of God in Christ in East New York section of Brooklyn. It was there that he gave his life to Christ, was grounded in the teachings of holiness, and served faithfully as Minister of Music.

Pastor Robinson pursued ministry training at the School of Urban Missions in Oakland, California, where he studied Pastoral Care. He also furthered his leadership development through the Sam Chand School of Leadership, gaining valuable insight that continues to shape his approach to ministry and organizational growth.

Alongside his wife, he served as Youth Director at Glad Tidings Church, under the leadership of Bishop J.W. Macklin. During that season, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and answered the call to ministry. In 2007, he was ordained as an Elder and later commissioned to plant a church.

In 2009, following a career opportunity, Pastor Robinson and his family relocated to North Carolina. There, he founded New Believers Christian Center, now known as Kingdom Life Church—a vibrant ministry built on the promise of Ephesians 3:20: “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

Pastor Robinson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from the North Carolina College of Theology.

Whether preaching from the pulpit, mentoring emerging leaders, or serving the community through various outreach programs, Pastor Robinson leads with compassion, vision, and a steadfast commitment to seeing lives transformed by the power of God.

Mataya Robinson

First Lady

Lady Mataya Robinson was born to Bishop J. W. & Vanessa Macklin in sunny Northern California, the oldest of five children.  There under the ministry of her parents she attended church faithfully, eventually working in ministry with the Youth Department and wherever needed.  Under the tutelage of her parents she learned the ministry, business of the church, evangelism and developing a passion for people.

God has always had his hand on her life.  After applying only to one college she was accepted and attended Howard University.  While in Washington, DC she found a deeper relationship with God, sang in the Howard Community Choir and was actively involved in church even though away from home.   In 1999, Lady Mataya received her Bachelor’s Degree in the Administration of Justice.

After graduation she attended the Church of God In Christ Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee.  While there she met Willie Robinson, Jr. an amazing man with so many similarities as hers it had to be God ordained.  There the two enjoyed an awesome weekend not knowing that God was truly up to something.  The two were united in marriage just months later in August 2000.

God has always been the center of their relationship and it was his direction and guidance that sent them to North Carolina. There union has been blesses with four wonderful children, Langston, Garrett, Madeline, and Megan.

Lady Mataya supports her husband in every capacity of the ministry that God ordained Pastor Robinson to found.  They collectively work as a cohesive unit in ministry helping to build and strengthen the body of Christ.
